The seminar series will take place at UCL and is sponsored by Therip, the Psychoanalysis Unit at UCL, the Centre for Psychoanalysis at Middlesex University and the Research Department at the Royal College of Art.
The seminars are geared at comparing and contrasting some main psychoanalytic concepts as they have been developed by these two schools of thought. Speakers will address the issues from both a theoretical and clinical perspective. |

This conference will build on the work of the EPF Working Party on Comparative Clinical Methods and their development of a systematic means of comparing the ways in which analysts work. We will try to advance the process of understanding what we really do when we do psychoanalysis.
