CALLS FOR PAPERS 

 

 

  • III ANNUAL MEETING OF THE INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY OF PSYCHOANALYSIS AND PHILOSOPHY announces call for papers: Function and Field of Clinical Concepts. The University of São Paulo (USP) organizes the 3rd Annual Meeting of the International Society of Psychoanalysis and Philosophy to be held in November, 22nd to 25th 2010. Papers submissions must contain an extended abstract (500-1000 words) and an author’s short curriculum vitae (specifying institutional affiliation, academic education and other relevant information such as publications).   • IPA CONGRESS 2011 MEXICO CITY Exploring Core Concepts: Sexuality, Dreams and the Unconscious:CALL FOR PROPOSALS NOW OPEN. This theme is a contribution to the search for conceptual integration in psychoanalysis. The method of exploration seeks to move beyond school debate to enquiry. Proposals are welcome from Members, IPA Candidates and non-Members of the IPA. The deadline for submissions is 29 September 2010. For further details, click here.

  • The Frances Tustin Memorial Trust announces a call for papers for the 15th Annual International Frances Tustin Memorial Prize. $1,000 will be awarded to an essay that explicates, expands and/or extends the seminal work of Frances Tustin in the area of the psychoanalytic treatment of autistic spectrum disorders in children and autistic states in adults. The essay should be no more than 6,000 words (excluding references), clinical in focus, and submitted in English no later than April 1, 2011 electronically as a Word or PDF attachment sent to info@frances-tustin-autism.org. The recipient of the Prize will be invited to present at The 14th International Frances Tustin Memorial Lecture in Los Angeles in November 2010. The paper should be cleansed of the authors identification and the body of the email should contain all contact information including Name, email address, and phone number as well a address. Please also attach an abstract of the paper (no more than 200 words) and a brief bio statement. Papers are read anonymously and awardees are chosen by the members of the Frances Tustin Memorial Board of Trustees.
